Can I Count On You?

Zainab Bakari

Can I count on you
When there is no one for me
When I'm still outside
When the weather is not fine
When the sun is shining
When nothing is fine
People moving around
Enemies are behind
Nothing going right
Friends are buzy with their own life
That moment when I feel so lone
In this empty world
I get up and eat my food
Can't get the satisfaction I should
When I secretly smile
Only God & you can see
When I give a pencil smile
To pretend like I'm fine
Hiding from the ones I love most
Sadness is my popular name
Can I count on you
I believe I can
Can I count on you
My sweet home
