Dear Lover of Time

Andrea Dragic

I'd been with many
yet so few
Paths without meaning
The heart torn by two,
by three, by four
Begin in a new direction
Where will it lead?
The world at my sight
Judging my feet
Step by step, click, clack
Where will it lead?
The pain returns, the memories moarn
Brought out by night, no figure there
Back to the begining, why do it again?
A human connection, the need for this friend
Over and over, in circles I go
A heart slumped into this pit
That I bury with grief
And there you are, the lover of my heart
Standing at my feet
Click, Clack
To little to late
Say good bye to my lover, my mate
See you in heaven at the white pearly gate.
