Emotion Process

David McDonald

It has no structure but full of meaning
It has no path but knows how to get there
Open it to the realm of possibility
Close it to the path of unequal tranquility

Let it ask questions
Let the answer's truth be untucked from its nook

Like the Earth in space
Wanting to search every new place
There are too many lumps
There are too many pieces of sand just casually passed over

Stemmed like the cell from unborn research
Don't narrow it to readings spoken from broken churches

Like a sailor navigating uncharted maps
Wanting to sail willingly into exciting new depths
Cherish what you'll find
It's on the other side of what you're about to find

Will reasons ever be found
Or is searching obliviously all one really wants

Itching hair like structures will sway
Battling to discover the vibrating meaning
Will this remain unseen
Or will the meaning of crying be found underground

Sprung to life by one simple idea
Yet killing itself with one simple fear

Almost shut up at times
It will never close
Doors will fully open
To the special one it chose
