Existence
Alita Faith Crane
We could wipe away our existence,
In nothing more than an instant.
Everything gone, nothing left,
Nothing but an horrific mess.
Buildings shattered, roads debris,
No life breath for you or me.
So easy to loose everything,
Every wish and every dream.
Memories, photo's, cards erased,
All lost without a trace.
It happens, in the blink of an eye,
Before anyone can say goodbye.
An act of fate or heroism,
Can bring us down to terrorism.
Man made extinctions,
Weapons of destruction,
Leaves us nothing to defend.
Helpless unto the end.
A world under threat. Live in fear.
Because tomorrow we may not be here!
