Matthew and Jeremy

Patricia Fisher

You both burst into the world.

Swords upright,

laughing with joy.

Shoulder to shoulder,

in every naughty deed,

every love filled cuddle.

Ropes of love,

twining through each others hearts.

Lassooing brother and sisters,

tugging them along,

with a promise of mystery and glory,

to your dangerous adventures.

One hand guarding my babies,

from your mischievous games.

The other hand pushing them forward,

to your love,

giggles and plans.
