Nature's Spiral (Life's Spirals)
Megan Du-Pont
Taking a walk down the valley of golden steams
I look to the crystal blue sky for an answer
If the wind could be my voice
It would say why I made that choice
It goes beyond what is known
It is everything we would expect
Those words caress my thoughts
The wind soothes the pain
The wind soothes the pain
Bring it all back
Bring back those days
When it was easy
Easy to push away what we didn't like
The childlike experiences that were all too simple
A complete repetition of an innocent child
A child in a destitute world
Though the eyes of our lives now have changed
The wind soothes the pain
The voice that has taken on another being
The rolling hills in the crescent valleys
The beauty of it now at this time
Will dwell in time
In memory
But in this world
Nothing is what is seems
Times, Seasons and Colours change
The change that recites the spiral of our lives
