The Winter and You

Ryan J Mcquade

The winter breeze is cold and brittle,

The ice caps form with a slow soft trickle,

You whisper in my ear I love you so,

And at that point it begins to snow,

As the days of winter go by,

With each setting sun and moon in the sky,

We close our eyes and say goodnight,

To awake in each others arms to the sun shining bright.
